The Wild Horses of Shackleford Banks & Carrot Island are the focal point of this adventure cruise. The historical past of these islands & inlets dates back more than 400 years, and the surviving island inhabitants serve as a timeless reminder of a captivating time gone by.
The cruise takes you only in protected waters, not in the open ocean, and each destination is full of interesting and captivating history and legend. From the cemeteries of Shackleford Banks to the heroic tales of the families of Harkers Island, your Captain will provide the colorful local knowledge to accompany the stunning visual landscapes.
And if that wasn’t enough, you’ll enjoy a captivating trip down Taylors Creek and along the Historic Beaufort NC Waterfront, which was just voted the “Coolest Small Town in America” by a national website.
If, for some reason we are unable to find horses, then you would receive a rain check for $100.00 off any future trip with Lookout Adventures, whether it’s a Fishing Trip, Dolphin Watch or Adventure Charter.

Prices below are for the entire boat, regardless of the number of passengers. There is a 6 passenger maximum per trip and we do not combine groups. The price will be the same regardless of how many are in your group, and you will have a completely private charter.
